GRADUATION OATH APPLICATIONS FOR THE JUNE PERIOD OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026

All female and male students of the Department of Sociology who completed the requirements for obtaining their degree during the June 2026 examination period and wish to participate in the upcoming Graduation Ceremony are requested to submit a graduation application and the necessary supporting documents to the Secretariat of the Department of Sociology from Wednesday, 02-09-2026 until Wednesday, 16-09-2026 between the hours of 11:00-13:00.

WARNING: It is noted that those who successfully completed all required courses in the June 2026 examination period and meet the requirements for obtaining a degree are automatically declared Graduates, lose their student status, and their my-uni.uoa account is automatically locked, regardless of whether or not they submit the Application to attend the Graduation ceremony.

The submission of the Oath Application and supporting documents is done in person (or by authorization via Gov.gr)

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

Signed Oath Application (click Here)
Photocopy of Police/Military ID Card/Passport
Signed Statutory Declaration (click Here)
Certificate from the Student Residence Hall (only those who resided in the Student Residence Hall must submit a Certificate signed by the Head of the F.E.P.A. [Student Residence of the University of Athens] stating that the room has been vacated).
The Academic ID (Mandatory) (or a Responsible Declaration of loss from a Police Station or via Gov.gr)

WARNING:

For obtaining the degree, participation in the graduation ceremony is mandatory.
Graduates who submit a graduation oath application but subsequently, for any reason, do not wish to participate in the upcoming ceremony but rather in one of the future ones, must inform the Secretariat immediately by email at secr@soc.uoa.gr
