(2) LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to:
- To know the basic aspects of special topics in social history and what we define as social history
- To analyze historical social phenomena
- To develop critical thinking
- To perceive the reciprocal relationship between the two scientific disciplines, History and Sociology.

- Search, analysis and synthesis of data and information, also using the necessary tools: bibliographic search

(3) COURSE CONTENT
It focuses on the study of the history of social classes, movements, everyday practices, and cultural representations. It examines themes such as labor, family, gender, political action, and experiences from below. The course combines sociological with micro-historical and cultural approaches, giving a voice to social subjects who are often excluded from official narratives. It emphasizes sources, narrative, and historical sensitivity in the study of social change.
