Η Accessibility Unit for Students with Disabilities (MoProFmeA) of the University of Athens seeks equal access to academic studies for students with diverse abilities and requirements, through the provision of environmental adjustments, Assistive Information Technologies, and Access Services.
The Accessibility Unit offers:
- Service for recording the specific needs of each PwD.
- Accessibility Department in the University's Built Environment.
- Transportation Service for Students with Disabilities from their residences to the Universities and vice versa
- Assistive Information Technologies.
- Free FMEA Software.
- Accessible Textbooks.
- Accessible Workstations in Libraries.
- Relay Service for the direct live telecommunication of Persons with Disabilities, through interpretation in Greek Sign Language, with fellow students, professors, and university employees.
- Peer volunteer support service for students with disabilities.
- Guidelines on the recommended methods for examining FMEAs.
- Psychological Counseling and Support Service for Students with Disabilities.
