The course aims to approach and connect sociology and health by familiarizing students with concepts and contemporary social issues related to the field of health. Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to:

| Process Description Evaluation | Written exam at the end of the semester with short-answer questions. At the end of the process, at least two (2) students remain and leave together. ή Oral examination at the end of the semester. The oral examination takes place in groups of three (3) to five (5) students in the presence of a second faculty/staff member (DEI/EDIP). Also: Students are given the opportunity to write a paper on topics proposed following a discussion with the students and subsequently posted on e-class. The paper accounts for 50% of the final grade. At the end of the semester, students must take a written or oral exam to earn the remaining 50% of the grade. The examination method may be modified by the General Assembly of the department (e.g., writing a waiver assignment) depending on the conditions and needs for the protection of Public Health. |
